Churchill Author to Keynote Bold Gold Broadcast & Media Foundation’s 6th Annual Event and Dinner. The non-profit arm of the Bold Gold Media Group, the Bold Gold Broadcast & Media Foundation, which supports educational programs that help students prepare for careers in broadcast journalism, announces that professor Andrew Roberts, author of the 2018 international best-seller, Churchill: Walking With Destiny, will keynote the organization’s 6th Annual Event & Dinner taking place on November 19 at Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre. The theme of the event is: Celebrating the Leadership of Winston Churchill – Defender of Free Speech and Western Civilization and once again focuses on the importance of freedom of speech, the press and First Amendment rights. Bold Gold Foundation president Vince Benedetto says, “Winston Churchill used the power of speech and the power of radio to rally his nation and the world to fight against tyranny. Churchill also confronted many of the dangerous ideologies that we see reemerging today… ideologies that are a threat to individual freedom and self-government, and he vanquished them. Professor Roberts is going to talk about how he defeated them, and what lessons we can learn from his leadership that are applicable in our time.” Also at this year’s event, the Bold Gold Foundation will honor Northeast PA business leader, Rob Grimm, of Grimm Construction, with The Atlas Award for Citizenship, presented to individuals who, through their hard work and bold actions, show what is possible to achieve in a free society, and who exhibit extraordinary dedication to the highest ideals of character, community service, entrepreneurialism, patriotism, leadership, and virtue.
