LOS ANGELES — We’ve witnessed it yet again: The “Holiday” survey period hardly resembles the other 12 sweeps in a calendar year.
Nielsen Audio’s “Holiday” 2018 survey period covered December 6 (2018) – January 2 (2019) and – repeating a familiar theme – stations that played wall-to-wall Christmas music (up until December 25) reaped the benefits.
As usual, the overwhelming majority of those outlets are adult contemporary.
