Robbins and Markley Named Late Morning Hosts at KXL, Portland. The duo filled in for Jim Villanucci while he was on vacation back in March and it must have gone well because Scott Robbins and Jamie Markley are taking over the 9:00 am to 12:00 noon PT left vacant when Villanucci suddenly left Alpha Media’s news/talk KXL, Portland last month. They are based at Alpha Media’s Peoria news/talker WMBD where they are the 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm CT hosts. They will continue to work both stations doing live and local shows – that means a seven-hour broadcast day. Alpha Media EVP of programming Scott Mahalick comments, “We’re very privileged and blessed to work with legendary talk talents such as Scott Robbins and Jamie Markley that can bring the live and local professionalism and energy to the Pacific Northwest.”
