NEWS PRODUCER.  Heritage Sacramento news/talk station, FM NewsTalk 92.5 and AM 1530 KFBK, is seeking a news producer for its award-winning newsroom. Candidate must be a strong writer and live a life of news immersion.  Creativity in presenting the news through the written word and sound, both on-air and online is a must. As a producer you will be responsible for supporting news anchors, reporters and editors in preparation for and during continuous, multi-hour news blocks; generate and organize content, stack stories, write and refresh headlines, assign reporters, write around network wraps, re-write AP copy, schedule newsmaker interviews, integrate breaking news, pull audio, and update web site. Must work well independently. PRODUCTION ASSISTANT.
