LOS ANGELES — After having posted special feature February 2019 ratings overviews of sports talk stations (Wednesday, 3/27) and public radio news/talk outlets (yesterday, Thursday, 3/28), we turn our attention to classic rock.

This summary is comprised of PPM-market classic rockers that rank in the top 20 (6+) in the February 2019 ratings period, which covered January 31 – February 27.

Nielsen Audio only releases audience estimates for facilities that subscribe to its services. Owing to that reason, ratings stats in this exclusive analysis are limited to stations that pay Nielsen Audio for its data.

Bottom-line matchup: The typical PPM-market classic rock station in February 2019 generally notches a 6+-share of 5.13 and finishes in sixth-place (#6.31), both stats exceeding what we previously noted in sports talk and public radio news/talk.
